Dieter Puntigam’s “Intermission”

One of our most exciting exhibits to date!
Born in Graz, Austria, Dieter graduated from the prestigious “Academy of Visual Arts” in Leipzig, Germany, in 2002. He has exhibited extensively in Europe including: MuseumsQuartier (Vienna), Kunstammlung ESSL Museum (Vienna), Beethoven Castle (Austria) and NDSM-werf in Amsterdam.

Dieter Puntigam’s work is in many private collections both Europe and the USA. Also exhibiting will be John Carnright, who worked with Dieter on the a collaborative sculpture series entitled “Totems”. The sculptures will be part of The Transcultural Exchange Exhibit & Symposium which will be held in Boston in 2009.
This will be Dieter’s first exhibit in the USA and one you will not want to miss. The Public Opening Reception is on Friday, October 3rd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The exhibit will run until November 25th. There will be a series of programs during Dieter’s exhibit, including an installation that will open November 21
st at 61 Wall Street (corner of Isaac and Wall Street) - presented by The Henry McBride Foudation; The Norwalk Arts Commission and POKO Development.
On October 17th, Dieter will be joined by British photographer Clint Eley. Both Clint and Dieter will be at the Bruce Museum Fine Art Fair.
