Osborne Ave. And Route 136

This is a public service announcement that Osborne ave, torn up by the First Tazing District subcontractors still is rutted, pot holed and otherwise undriveable.

In other news, Mike Geake and Bob Duff would like to move truck traffic off Meadow street and onto MLK, by making 136 move. This would mean that all those nice residential streets that connect MLK to Water ST /Fort Point  would be considered as possible state road candidates. Um, that would be Monroe since Washington st has a really low railroad bridge to contend with.

This isn’t really a new idea. It has been the intention of the City for about 30 years to make MLK and Monroe Street Route 136. This is the reason that the connection between Hanford Place and Tolles Street was built in the early 1990’s and the utilities lowered under the Monroe Street bridge a couple of years ago.

You mean the Osborne Avenue where drivers are forced to drive on the wrong side of the road so that they do not lose control of their vehicles from the bomb craters and sink holes??????

I have seen better roads running through the “Hindu Kush between Pakistan and the mountainous region of Afghanistan.”
