Where was our wonderful tree alliance phonies when they let that magnificent tree in Mathews Park be cut down for a parking space?!?!?!? They need to practice what they preach.

Too bad the City didn’t publicize this event, but that’s about what I’ve come to expect. A great idea but the weather proved that Shady Beach wasn’t the right venue at this time of year. Veteran’s Park would have been better but in its infinite wisdom, the City has opted for NO TREES there.

The city doesn’t publicize anything until after the fact.

#2 There are a few trees at Veterans Park, which are the second group planted. The first group of trees sank into the ground because it is built on a dump and the ground is unstable.

The idiots in Parks & Wreck (like they wrecked Mathews park) think they can build all kinds of crap there at our expense. But when the crap starts to sink, who will pay for it all over again? You guessed it! Us, the taxpayers! Bend over and pass the KY jelly.
