Spitzer Snagged In Sex Ring

Ah, finally something to move the presidential primaries off the front pages of local New York centric papers. A good old fashioned political prostitution story. This should last for days. Former high flying NY AG, now governor, Eliot Spitzer caught as client number 9 at the Mayflower. Hrmmm, Mayflower, wasn’t that a familiar prostitution call girl name in NYC not so long ago?  Love the irony  here.

What I’d like to know is why the ringleaders only kept 19k in Euros and $600k in dollars. At the rate of the dollar’s decline they could have been charging in euros and adding to the profits.

    The real scandal is that these models seem a little ovepriced. We’ve seen homes being over-valued and now it’s the prostitutes! Yeah, they are hot — but not $10,000 an hour worth of hot. Unless their gold medalists or somehow triple jointed, then I’m not seeing the added value.

    And nobody is talking about how these models are driving up the cost of starter/entry level prostitutes throughout the country! Middle income Johns are being priced out of the market.

    Ultimately I think this scandal is for the best. The prostitution market has needed a healthy market correction for a long time now.

    For $5000 plus an hour, those whores had better be triple jointed, give you a kick back of $4975, and throw in a bag of popcorn.

    It’s jerks like Spitzer who ruin it for the little guy. The ultimate politician “YOU WILL DO IT MY WAY or you will be destroyed.” Payback is a bitch Eliot.

    At least we know where the taxpayer dollar is going in this case. What I want to know is why Spitzer is the only politician whose name has come up. That smells like a hatchet job to me…

    No no no. Using more than one currency doesn’t change the law of supply and demand. Ignoring transaction costs, using a stronger currency won’t make your customers be willing to pay more for your, um, “product”.

    By keeping the bulk of their receipts in euros, the organization is simply making a bet that the dollar will decline further against the euro. Hum, which in retrospect was a pretty shrewd bet, now that this scandal has moved Obama closer to the White House.

    Oh come now…..it’s only another Democrat breaking the law. This is nothing bad, I guess if you compare it to something like….maybe….perhaps smoking crack & getting caught on video……OH…. that’s right, that already happened, but wait, he got away with that and was re-elected huh…Spitzer will cut a deal, then resign and write a book for a couple of million then retire in the caymans.
