A date has been set for cleaning Flax Hill park after so many snowy and rainy Saturdays.

Norwalk: Corda Tap Dances Through BET Meeting

I stopped counting the number of times Sal Corda said the word understanding tonight after 100, and I missed the first half hour of the meeting. Listening to Corda answer questions is like being caught in an endless loop of Mentos commercials. Here’s a reminder:

Spitzer Snagged In Sex Ring

Ah, finally something to move the presidential primaries off the front pages of local New York centric papers. A good old fashioned political prostitution story. This should last for days. Former high flying NY AG, now governor, Eliot Spitzer caught as client number 9 at the Mayflower. Hrmmm, Mayflower, wasn’t that a familiar prostitution call girl name in NYC not so long ago?  Love the irony  here.

What I’d like to know is why the ringleaders only kept 19k in Euros and $600k in dollars. At the rate of the dollar’s decline they could have been charging in euros and adding to the profits.

Norwalk: Four Year Terms

Supposedly tomorrow’s night’s common council meeting will include a vote on whether to create the charter revision committee. The reason for revising the charter would be to extend the term of mayor at the very least and common council members possibly to four years. As with most change in Norwalk, sticks in the mud are planting fast and furiously.
