Pressidential Primaries Totally Undecided

The PR pros of all the campaigns will be in hyper spin mode today, but I think its more realistic to say that nothing much was decided. Part of the problem will be the horse race nature of the media coverage, which focuses on money and momentum rather than the real issues.

In Connecticut, the breakdown of who won what is nicely outlined in a state map here.

For super Tuesday, the 22 state results are here.

One way to look at the results is to look at population and the 2004 presidential election results.

Now, pick your candidate and see how they actually did when it comes to winning. Not so easy.

The HillBill (Hillary) campaign is sucking wind- and is going broke!

Today- Hillary Clinton had to loan her campaign 5 million bucks. Maybe, she will become the Dems version of Mitt Romney!

Oh, and a two thumbs down to the Dan Malloy and Bill Finch crowd.

    John DeStefano rocks the vote!

WASHINGTON - Senate Republicans blocked a move by Democrats on Wednesday to add more than $40 billion in checks for the elderly, disabled veterans and the unemployed to a bill to stimulate the economy.

Sean: John DeStefano? You mean the guy who funneled god knows what to Sal Brancati and protected the job of the narc cop who took bribes? The guy has more scandals that harm New Haven’s most vulnerable citizens. That’s who you put on the pedestal?

Hey Turf- I heard you joined forces with the status quo of the democratic party and supported the Billary campaign!

Did you get the memo? Hillary is so PC (not politically correct)and Obama is Mac.

I would give you a thumbs down too- but I like you

John DeStefano is a friend of the progressive movement and he rocks the vote!

    DeStefano for Gov 2010!

Sean: Oh come on now, Henry Fernandez is the real progressive in the mayor’s office. Destefano + Marcus = bad news. Ya gotta stop falling for the rhetoric and look at what people actually do.

Republicans delivered their likely party’s nomination on Super Tuesday and they still support President Bush policies. It is obvious that Republicans cannot provide a new vision for the future that we so desperately need after the terrible blunders of the Bush Administration.

Republicans offer nothing other than what amounts to a third Bush term on everything from Iraq, healthcare, judicial appointments, taxes, and more. We have lived a nightmare of unprecedented proportions for over the last 7 years under the Republican administration and we thought it couldn’t get any worse, but we are now facing an economic depression due to runaway spending that we can’t afford.

China keeps buying our debt from the international markets. This means that China owns a large stake of our economy and we keep buying their poison without any apparent US government controls to stop their continued exports into our country from pet food to toys that affect our children and a lot of other items that pose health hazards to our population. (thousands of products have been recalled, but no one is really sure of how many other items are getting through to consumers)

Republicans seem to be committed to continue the war in Iraq and to expand hostilities to other parts of the world, increasing poverty levels and more hardship for the middle class, tax cuts for the wealthy, continued dependence on oil, no health insurance, no adjustments to the Medicare system and more madness.

We can stop the Republican incompetence at all levels in November. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspapers and add your voice to the vast majority of Americans who are suffering the effect of disastrous Republican policies.

    SPEAKOUT!!! HAVE YOUR SAY.

Aren’t the Democrats in the majority. Who passed what Bills and what programs? Dems always blame others when they only have to look at themselves.

Look at Norwalk’s past BOE - all Dems - what happened.

Thank goodness the Reps have a Great candidate. Look what the Dems have - spend your money - spend your money - spend your money candidates. I need to keep some of my hard earned money for my family. That is why I will vote Rep.

#12 I think you are losing this argument. Re-think your comments because spend your money - spend your money - spend your money applies to Republicans not Democratic officials.

We had a surplus after the last Democratic administration. Well, you know what we have now, spend your trillions - spend your trillions - spend your trillions.

But, don’t worry; common sense will be back after the 2008 elections. BTW, unless you are in the top 1% money earners (elite) of the country (which I’m sure, you are not) you are just another poor slob getting poorer and struggling to survive.
