Bravo, Turfie! Butt cheeks will clench over this one. You run the risk of being called names that a third grader would use, though. Make that a first grader…

I can see we are back to name-calling again #1 (CaCa-mbo). to show your ignorance, Turf & I debate (and Agree most times) over many issues. Just ask her. You however, have such disgusting distain over others views, that your name suits you CaCa. Look if you can see yourself at the ends of my comment.

Great tune Turf!! But I think the folks out there apply it to different political parties, Most others might even apply it to both political parties for that matter. Here’s the lyrics to the song:

    American Idiot

Don’t wanna be an American idiot
Don’t want a nation that’s under new media
Can you hear the sound of hysteria
    The subliminal mind f**k America
    Chorus:
Welcome to a new kinda tension
    All across the alien nation
Everything isn’t meant to be ok
    Television dreams of tomorrow
We’re not the ones meant to follow
    Well that’s enough to argue

Well maybe I the faggot America
I’m not a part of a redneck agenda
    Now everybody do the propaganda
And sing along in the age of paranoia
    Chorus
Don’t wanna be an American idiot
One nation controlled by the media
    Information age of hysteria
It’s calling out to idiot America
    Chorus

    I Like that last verse:
“One nation controlled by the media
    Information age of hysteria
It’s calling out to idiot America”.
Why? Because when I see politicans send mixed signals (flip flop) by distortion, Misleading and twisting the truth and then I see the “American Idiots” that vote for them, it angers me that they have used this war to disparage our President and hurt our soldiers in a time of war for what?? Their political gain. These politians, in my view, should be brought up for Treason. You’ve seen my other clip I posted (NO one could even refute it- That means YOU CaCa - still waiting). Do you all remember Gore, Kerry, Dean & Co. screaming and ranting “Bush Lied!! He Played upon our FEARS!!” Then we had the “idiot America” (That’s you again CaCa) who forgot what these same politicians were saying no to long ago. Talk about a Mind F**k!! So “Wake Up America”, Here’s another clip to help you all remember.

The continuing dismantling of any threat to Soo Gunn and her puppets on the Historical Commission continues, judging by the story in the Hour this morning. Pretty soon she will have complete control over everything to do with the Museum. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Pathetic. Does she think she has a shred of credibility left?

  • 4 Anonymous // Jan 25, 2008 at 9:12 am

Forget it, Turf. As I said about our friend some time ago, expecting anything resembling sanity from him is like asking a fart bubble to smell like a rose…

  • 5 turfgrrl // Jan 25, 2008 at 9:20 am

Wake up already!: Still happy watching your FOX news eh? Back atcha …

  • 6 EvenHerLawyerCouldn'tDefendHer // Jan 25, 2008 at 9:33 am

This morning’s story about how Wells is spinning the State Dems’ decision is pure fantasy. She can’t defend her execution of the local rules and even her lawyer couldn’t defend her behavior. She abused the rules to her own ends and now wants to look like she is a reformer. Good, bad or indifferent, she purposely abused the local rules and thereby abused state rules. She never acknowledges her errors and never apologizes. Happy to see her go!

  • 7 Wake up already! // Jan 25, 2008 at 9:45 am

Now, Now CaCa…I still think you smell like a fart, hence your name fits, ehh CaCa? Funny how you sign “anonymous” now, but we all your really CaCa.

Yeah Turf, I prefer FOX News over CNN or MSNBC. As does the MAJORITY of America. That Same poll asked which News Station is fairest, which FOX won quite handidly. Which was to the left and biased? You guessed it! CNN & MSNBC. This clip I posted doesn’t have the Nonsence of haveing to paste biased dem comments over our president. NO. It just shows the dems Lying over & over with THEIR OWN WORDS to hang themselves. WHere’s your comment on them flip floping Turf? If this was Bruce Morris flip floping, you’d be all over it.

I see you found a wonderful clip “Doctored” with Dem commentary. Was this from those great “unbiased” (LOL)websites you gave us yesterday? I find some for you today after I get to work for you to enjoy. So WHY doesn’t ANYONE respond to the clips I Posted? Because Dem Libs have selective memory. They can’t even process what a bunch of liars they are……Still waiting for a responce to those clips I posted without your childish insults Caca…

Wow! I’m not one who particularly likes to read the nasty word fighting on this blog, However, I did watch your posted video Wake up. It is a real eye opener when you hear what these same people are stateing these days. I fear you are correct in that they have politicized this war. How sad for our country.

  • 9 cacambo // Jan 25, 2008 at 5:52 pm

For you whacked out, I will ALWAYS post with my real name. Just so you can roll in it.

I’m curious since you hate the regular media so much, if you are one of those who believe it is a Jewish conspiracy.

    RE cacambo #9

Candide and Cacambo see two naked girls chased by two monkeys who bite the girls’ buttocks. Candide, feeling chivalrous, shoots and kills the two monkeys. Candide thinks that killing the monkeys will make up for the three previous murders he committed. He notes that the girls might be of use to them in this unknown territory.

When the girls weep and hold the dead monkeys to their breasts, Candide is baffled. Cacambo tells Candide that there is nothing unusual about taking a monkey as one’s lover.

  • 11 cacambo // Jan 25, 2008 at 7:04 pm

I always heard that all a man had to be was slightly better than a monkey and he could get any girl to marry him. I see many examples of this…take for example, Donald Trump.

  • 12 Anonymous // Jan 25, 2008 at 8:10 pm

Bet Whacked Off believes “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” is the truth, too…

Turfie - still waiting for your report on the Historical Commission meeting the other night…

  • 14 Gun Shy // Jan 26, 2008 at 12:04 pm

Is there or is there not an ordinance that prohibits anyone from carrying or transporting a long gun (shotgun or rifle) for the purpose of hunting into a city park?

I was aware that Federal law states that waterfowl hunters can hunt below the high water mark and must be 500 feet from a building. I was under the impression to stop hunting from our water front land and parks such as Veterans park or Calf Pasture beach, an ordinance was passed to make it against the law to have a hunting weapon in or on your possession for the purpose of hunting. Loaded or unloaded in the park.

Anyone know were this provision might be located in our ordinances, if in fact it was passed into law?

  • 15 Anonymous // Jan 26, 2008 at 1:41 pm

I live on Norwalk Harbor and have been putting up with hunting, literally in my front yard, for years. While I have nothing against hunters, Norwalk Harbor - a working and recreational harbor - is not the place for it. Nor is Calf Pasture.

Hunting is outlawed in coastal areas on either side of Norwalk, in Darien and Westport. Not surprising. Another way Norwalk is the “hole in the donut.” The few inquiries I made before I gave up trying to get the City to do anything led me to understand that this is a state issue, not a municipal one.

    Editor’s note from the Hour

    While we regret having
used the quote in our story, we
    do not reveal anonymous
sources who ask to speak off
    the record. This policy
    ensures that sources will continue
    to speak to Hour
    reporters, and is consistent
    with Connecticut law protecting
    the identity of anonymous
    sources. Revealing a source
    would discourage potential
    sources from coming forward,
    compromising The Hour’s
    ability to be the community
    watchdog.

Now for others to way in.We need someone in the city to speak out stir the pot. The Hour has become one of our only news sources , a close second is the Blog. The Connecticut Post may even take the third spot if given the chance and their reporting comes close they too are covering this lower half of the county now.

We complain that not until tuesday will we now hear whats been going on in Norwalk a city not a two horse town north country. The Advocate will turn out a sunday paper but it was written last thursday The Hour even in its best hour will have all the weekend news by mid week.

The past of Norwalk reads like the here and now , many have not learned much about what transpired in the past what we had and what we have less of in the sense of police protection and community outreach and involvement.warnings from some of our dept heads have fallen on deaf ears, deaf ears have become what some of the other dept heads have developed.Accountability is what some are demanding from our news outlets it seems easier to get from our own city.

This last round of who is running some of the political parties is simply another extension on how the city has been run for years.New owners have been moving in wondering what did they buy into?

One can only hope others speak out from the DPW and the Fire dept we have so much more to hear about the conditions of the moral and the state our budgets are in.

we just read how many officers are in court over the many court cases where officers are there to testify , when do we hear how its effected our police budget and dozen or so patrolmen needed to replace these men on our street while they are in Stamford court.

W heard about $200 an hour lawyers in Hartford that is nothing compared to whats its costing us taxpayers an hour in Stamford this week. The news papers have spent their budget in just news coverage alone what about the city what has been the bill to date? We are not talking about 1 murder case we are talking many with many witnesses most of which are making overtime or creating it here on the police force.

Some of these cases have been waiting to go to trial since 2005, no one knew we it was going to cost us now?

so whats the bottom line is our police budget tapped or do we have a bottomless account?

boom town to ghost town another washington street store front will be open

    Erlanger, co-owner of Saga,
an arts and crafts store in
    South Norwalk, rarely looked
at his watch for the past 20
years, but he realizes its time
for the store to close its doors.
    “I look back and think,
‘How many times did I find
    myself looking at my watch
    (while working at Saga)?’”
    said Erlanger. “I could think
of five times in 20 years and
    that’s a good job.”
    Saga, 81 Washington St., is
    closing because its owners,
    Erlanger and his wife Karen
    Elliott, want to spend more
    time with their family.
    Erlanger and Elliott are looking
    into keeping Saga alive
via Internet sales but, in the
    meantime, they are liquidating
    their store’s stock.

does Norwalk have a problem with BB guns? Bridgeport did yesterday and to think it was news today maybe the Post can replace The Hour and The Advocate its worth thinking about isn’t it? News when it happens.

A cool-headed Bridgeport police sergeant is being credited by his superiors with convincing a distraught Vine Street man to lay down his weapons and surrender to the police he held at bay outside his apartment Saturday afternoon

It was said to be only a BB gun in the end just the same are we seeing any kind of gun voilence in the city?

why can’t Norwalk get this , it would beat chasing shots fired in South Norwalk all the time.

Finally, during a strategy session with our law enforcement partners, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Ron Chavarro offered a possible solution—a private sector technology called ShotSpotter that he’d overheard others talking about at a conference.

ShotSpotter, he explained, is a new crime-fighting tool that helps locate and track gunfire using “acoustic triangulation”—caused when sound waves are recorded at two or more locations.

Employing a network of hidden microphones linked to a central computer, the system is designed to detect a shot within seconds. It can “hear” a gunshot, provide accurate location information within several miles depending on the number of sensors deployed, and archive the audio for forensic analysis. The technology is also capable of determining information relating to the direction and speed of shooters on the move

Despite aging equipment and increasing ridership, a survey found riders on Metro-North Railroad’s New Haven Line are generally more satisfied with service.

Metro-North yesterday released the results of its 2007 survey of 5,000 riders on its three lines east of the Hudson River. Surveys were distributed mid-September on trains and sent to users who receive tickets in the mail.

has crime gone up as well? Be a nice followup wouldn’t you think the South Norwalk train station needs some help simply look at the imaginary crime reports.

norwalk.news@yahoo.com was always someplace to send some news tips or things you see happen that doesn’t make the real news. It was a joke among one newsroom but as you can see its been producing news for sometime. Its been interesting for the last couple of months most of the emails are from others that have seen , experienced crime and have sent their thoughts.

Prosecutors Tuesday arrested a veteran Norwalk police lieutenant on charges of having sex with “a number of minor teenagers,” authorities said.

Thomas Cummings, 46, a 24-year veteran of the Norwalk police department, faces more than 100 years in prison after authorities charged him Tuesday with eight separate felonies, including two counts of having sexual intercourse with a minor.

The charges involve Cummings’ interactions with three minor boys.

Cummings used Web sites and chat rooms to entice minors to his home, where he allegedly showed them pornographic materials and had sex with them, State’s Attorney David Cohen said Tuesday.

its sad one cop said too much to the news hounds one cop simply didn’t care who he said anything too.Who is worse?
