I’ll have more later, I have to find out the nitty gritty details afterwards, but here’s what I picked up so far:
BOE meeting
I walked in to the BOE budget meeting, after the tie vote (Rivas abstained) forcing the mayor to break the tie, I came in to the next part of the meeting.
Bruce Melion updated me that they approved a wellness program but that the motion to add a fiancé director failed 5-4.
They are talking about priorities of spending and gym doors. This must be the discussion of the capital budget.
Full house tonight, but the meeting began on a morbid note for several moments of silence for Amanda Brown’s grandmother, Mary Roman’s sister and some guy Bob Andre that Nick Kydes mentioned who had previously served on zoning and conservation.
Serasis, Brown, Bondi Bolden, Conroy, Geake, Hilliard, Bonnefant, Kydes ,Lindstrom, Hempstead , Stranitni, Kurmmel, Sutton,
They then launched into corrections to the minutes, starting with Amanda Brown doing her paralegal thing and some discussion about whether Krummel was voting on something.
The BOE budget limps through the required hearings and the warm weather is a siren call to soak up the sun. Alas, CES is afoot and the work stuff is suggesting today’s musical ode:
Comments are yours to steer the conversation, and the Kudos to the quick fix on the Water Street street lamp.
