Norwalk: Bruce Morris Can’t Park

by turfgrrl

October 24th, 2007 · 24 Comments

When Mayor Moccia took office one of the many things he did was designate visitor parking in the City Hall lots. That way, city employees aren’t competing with visitors when it comes to parking spots. I was surprised to find Bruce Morris’ car parked in a visitor space.

This can be either one of two things, Bruce Morris considers himself a visitor to City hall and only intends to park at most 2 hours. Or Bruce Morris thinks he is entitled to park in visitor spaces because the rules don’t apply to him.

BOE, are you paying attention?

It is both…he is a visitor that does not follow the rules.

It seems that greed and arrogance have overwhelmed Brucie.

Knowing Jodi she’ll ask that Bruce get a reserved spot right next to Sal Corda.

Dick Moccia didn’t designate visitors’ parking at City Hall. Visitors’ parking have been designated for years.

These are petty arguments for inmaterial reasons for what appear to be politics with no substance from obvious Republican propaganda.

Republicans have demonstrated “Disaster” for the US at all levels. You can run, but can’t hide. You know it, and the VOTERS know it. What a sorry, incompetent bunch!

How about presenting more meaningful arguments like,

    1. STATE REP. BRUCE MORRIS(140) CHAMPIONS CAUSE FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN NORWALK

    2. BRUCE MORRIS SECURE 17 AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS FOR NORWALK

    3. BRUCE MORRIS ACHIEVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR SONO

BTW, check the background of mostly Republican incumbents at the Council level and the new names running for the Council this year. They are lucky to have finished High School, if in fact they did.

Bruce, I think your lack of a college degree is quite glaring. There is no such word as “inmaterial”.
Why don’t you explain why you parked in the visitors parking.

Bruce do you have a high school degree ? The way you write indicates that you might not have left the 10th grade.

Someone called “overandout” continues to babble?

OK, kinder puppies, IMMATERIAL, my error.

But, High School Degree? I rest my case.

Bruce must be working over time tonight to make up for all those “lost hours.” Ward B has had enough embarrassment over you.

What is wrong with getting government paychecks for two jobs, even if he doesn’t show up at one, or the other?

  • 13 Support Rocco J. Frank Jr. // Oct 24, 2007 at 10:32 pm

Bruce Morris is being supported by Jim Amann who has directed a letter to Att. Blumenthal in his defense. If you truly oppose feeble minded people in government that you must support Frank in getting rid of those who build their house support with them.

Brucie wants you to forget about Joe Ganim and Ernie Newton. And he really doesn’t want you to think about why he’s still employed by Norwalk Public Schools when he doesn’t have a college degree, doesn’t have any qualifications to hold his job, and no one sees him doing any job except to cash his paycheck. Isn’t that a crime?

  • 17 Anonymous // Oct 24, 2007 at 11:22 pm

Brucie can’t spell either. That would be through, as in you are through.

  • 18 overandout // Oct 24, 2007 at 11:25 pm

C’mon there is no contest, when it comes to convictions Republicans win hands down.

Wow, another kinder puppy, writing about “thru.” and “through”, such illiterate neophyte.

    They do?

  • 21 Anonymous // Oct 24, 2007 at 11:38 pm

More incoherence from Brucie, vagabond on the third floor. I am Brucie hear me snore.

  • 22 secretadmirer // Oct 24, 2007 at 11:58 pm

Hey, this is hot today. I really admire Republicans. When they have no issues that they could possibly defend with any sensible logic they are still lashing out.

Republicans are losing thousands of party members nationwide by the minute.

No funds left to run national elections in ‘2008 and running campaign deficits into the millions.

Campaign contributions are non existent at all levels.

A good number of Republican incumbents nationwide already decided to not run in 2008

Walter Briggs outdid Moccia in third quarter contributions 2 to 1.

Where do you go from here?

Well, nothing left but trashy behavior and insults.

  • 23 Watchdog // Oct 25, 2007 at 6:58 am

Sorry, I don’t see a difference in either party.
Trashy behavior and insults sounds like the Dems. I wouldn’t have invited John Kerry to dinner. Talk about charima and charm. Tell you what. There are decent people on either side who truly care at a local level. These generalizations will earn you a top heavy government that is dangerous and out of control. Look at the BOE on a local level - all Democratic. So what’s the answer?

  • 24 Josef Schweik // Oct 25, 2007 at 10:29 am

Watchdog, shush! They both have defined measurements of loyalty to party and ideology. I shudder to think what will happen if you score too low! I was slapped with a Republican label and expect to be carted off to join overandout’s list. Not to worry, the psychiatrists will label me as an idiot, again.
