Read police article in The Hour today by rerired cop Suchy. Interesting ideas..why not try them?

  • 2 Anonymous // Oct 22, 2007 at 9:19 am

Here’s an idea about how to get rid of self-serving local politicos. Maybe we could import some of these critters…

NEW DELHI, India (AP) — Wild monkeys attacked a senior government official who then fell from a balcony at his home and died Sunday, media reported.

New Delhi Deputy Mayor S.S. Bajwa was rushed to a hospital after the attack by a gang of Rhesus macaques, but succumbed to head injuries sustained in his fall, the Press Trust of India news agency and The Times of India reported.

Many government buildings, temples and residential neighborhoods in New Delhi are overrun by Rhesus macaques, which scare passers-by and occasionally bite or snatch food from unsuspecting visitors.

Last year, the Delhi High Court reprimanded city authorities for failing to stop the animals from terrifying residents and asked them to find a permanent solution to the monkey menace.

Part of the problem is that devout Hindus believe monkeys are manifestations of the monkey god Hanuman and feed them bananas and peanuts — encouraging them to frequent public places.

Over the years, city authorities have employed monkey catchers who use langurs — a larger and fiercer kind of monkey — to scare or catch the macaques, but the problem persists.

upi figure will all the hoopla over all the big plans that are tanspiring in Norwalk, somewhere in the city we are probably losing something,

could this letter in the Hour be correct in having us assume progress may not be happening for all of us in the city..

Colonial Village expansion forced on neighborhood

    To the Editor:
With the former Colonial Village Community Center nothing more than a small pile of rubble, it is obvious that the Norwalk Housing Authority is moving forward with their plans to destroy the longtime ball field/playground (formerly a city park) and the only remaining “green space” in this area to make way for even more housing units in this already very densely populated and congested area.

The housing authority is literally shoving these expansion plans down my neighborhood’s throat, as our local politicians just stand idly by. (Yet they want our votes!)

“Won’t affect me” you’re saying to yourself. Really? I think that the expansion proposed there at Colonial Village might “affect” you more than you think. Are you a Norwalk taxpayer? Any children in the Norwalk public school system? Do you drive or shop in Norwalk in the Route 1/Connecticut Avenue area?

Are you concerned with Norwalk’s current quality of life? How about the increasing housing density in Norwalk?
So now take a moment and think about what this could mean in terms of additional cars on the local roads, additional children in the school system, the added cost to educate them, the additional necessary city services and infrastructure cost, the destruction of the very limited open space/parkland in town, etc. And those items are just the tip of the iceberg. Most of those things require additional funds — which could lead to HIGHER TAXES that YOU and I would have to pay. So it won’t only be me and my neighborhood that will be affected – it will also be YOU and your neighborhood that’s affected.
How would you feel if a special interest group was allowed to hijack your neighborhood and put THEIR cause and interest ahead of what YOU, the people of the neighborhood felt was best?

Just like other neighborhoods, we feel that we deserve a major voice in how our neighborhood is developed. And who would know better than the people of the neighborhood as to the state of our neighborhood, and the direction we feel it should go in. We are the ones that live here each and every day! (Even though we had representatives attend the master planning meetings, our input was totally ignored.)

We feel that this proposed expansion will just completely overpopulate our already heavily populated neighborhood and totally destroy what little residential character it has remaining, while continuing to further batter my neighborhood’s already declining quality of life. I don’t believe that the Norwalk Housing Authority’s main concerns are about things like traffic congestion, housing density, neighborhood population, quality of life elements, crime, school population, balanced development, “smart” growth, preservation of neighborhoods or what the impact will be on existing home values in the neighborhood.

As someone who lives here each and every day and has a large financial stake in what happens there, I see these as major elements of concern. These are certainly many of the things that make a neighborhood, and the things that make that neighborhood livable.

And where will the many, many “high risk” children from Colonial Village and the surrounding neighborhood have a chance to safely play to help “relieve their boredom” and maybe partake in some sports activities, which might teach them some of life’s lessons including things like teamwork and sportsmanship coupled with some character development, if their only park and open space is destroyed to build this additional housing? When you look closely at the sites of existing parks, you will see that the closest existing park is miles away, and requires crossing heavily trafficked roads.

    Just what are our priorities?

I ask for your support to continue to oppose the housing authority’s plan to add any additional housing in any way shape or form to this area and complex, and that the open space at Colonial Village be restored to its original intended purpose — as a park and open space to provide residents and neighbors alike a deserved place to play, relax and unwind in.

    No Colonial Village expansion!

    John Kuran

    Norwalk

funny how these things slip by the us while we talk about so mnay issues that belong in the waste basket,,only some of them of course , and the forgotten city seems to receive some more housing and less places for children to gather

I didn’t see the mayor at this ground breaking, and this seems to be a subject anyone who is in office hasn’t talked about it maybe we can hear from any of our board members to set us all straight how this was as good as the wall st project and how this is saving our city like POKO intends to do with its or is it our city?

build it and they will come,,what about the ones who already live here?

  • 4 enough already! // Oct 22, 2007 at 10:22 am

Colonial Village does not need to be expanded.
What it does need is a complete overhaul of the buildings that exist now. They need to fix what is wrong, not add to the problem. You can’t take play space away from children just to make more money. When are these people going to realize the benefit of completely overhauling the entire village, making it into co-ops and allowing those who live there to own their unit? Do you realize that if these people were allowed to own the unit they live in how quickly the drug and gang activity would go away? Does anyone realize that people who own their properties take pride in their surroundings? Why do we constanly try to pack disadvantaged people into small communities with no incentives? Instead of adding insult to injury, take the time to look at the area and see what we as fellow citizens can do to let the people of Colonial Village and any of the viallages we have be proud of where they live and give them incentive to take charge of the areas and you will see that they are avery important part of our community. Build a playground, dig a community garden egt everyone involved in making these places a better place to live and show them that Norwalk understands their needs and cares.

Carvin, isn’t it just absolutely disgusting what the opposition will do to discredit you? Same with Hempstead in the Museum thread. Are people that ignorant of the process or are they attacking the opposition during an election campaign? I would hope they are openly throwing political stones or they are just plain stupid about how a committee works. It’s so unbelievable to think that you donate your time and effort to help the city and the people in it and THIS is the thanks you get. Disgusting.

    Markowitz, 37, and a member
    of the department since
April 2001, says his success in
    obtaining grants is based on
    being a firefighter preparing
    applications that are reviewed
    and approved by firefighters.
    In the past, grant applications
    for the department were
prepared by an employee of the
    mayor’s office, says Markowitz,
    resulting in their being technically
    deficient.
    Crediting fire Lt. Ed

    one of the successful applications,
    Markowitz says grant
    money from FEMA’s Assistance
    to Firefighters has been
    used to purchase turnout gear,
    breathing apparatus, infrared
    cameras and fitness equipment.
    In total, the grants have
    amounted to more than
    $465,000.
    His latest effort, says
    Markowitz, is to obtain
    $100,000 to purchase equipment
    for the new rescue truck
    the department plans to order,
    including extrication tools
    and inflatable lift bags that
can be used to raise a vehicle
    off a person trapped beneath
    it.
    Markowitz says 90,000 fire
    departments apply for FEMA
    grants each year. Federal assistance
    funds awarded to a
    department cover 80 percent of
the cost of a purchase, with the

Norwalk: Grants Coordinator Delivers on $1 Million
Category: In the News, Local, Norwalk — By: turfgrrl @ 8:17 pm
Ah, was it it not just Friday where comments swirled about just what the grants co-ordinator was up to? Matt “Mad Max” Breslow delivers a Norwalk Advocate article profiling the progress. From the Advocate:

When the city hired a full-time grants coordinator one year ago, Mayor Richard Moccia cautioned that it would take time for the move to pay off.

Still, Katherine Pytleski helped garner the city more than $1 million in grants in the 12 months since she arrived in Norwalk.

Moccia, who promised during his 2005 run for mayor that he would hire a full-time grants coordinator, last week reiterated the admonition that creating the job should not be expected to bring the city millions overnight.

Ok it’s a start. And the grants procured have been:

Of the sum she helped secure for the city in the past year, more than half came from a homeland security grant awarded after she rewrote the application, which had been rejected before she was hired.

Other grants she secured will help the city continue running its summer youth-employment program, which lost a funding source when the 10-year federal grant for Norwalk Weed and Seed expired last year.

“That’s a very important program,” Pytleski said of the summer employment offering, “and it helps occupy youths who might otherwise not find a job.”

Another priority, she said, is seeking funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help fix neighborhood flooding problems.

“So far we’re in the application phase,” Pytleski said.

The application discusses replacing some storm drainage pipes with larger ones.

However, Pytleski said Norwalk is competing for part of a limited pool of $250,000 FEMA made available for Connecticut municipalities in the most recent funding round.

Homeland security funding has been another focus for Pytleski. She wrote grant applications that brought the city $914,000 in federal money, dispensed by the state, for the police and fire departments.

The homeland security money mostly was earmarked for training and equipment including a decontamination tent, ballistic helmets, gas masks, radiation meters and computer hardware and software.

Yet, homeland security money is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg on grants. Tapping into the talent of the commissions and boards might be a successful idea to generate a 5 year plan to solicit areas worth getting grants. And, making available what grants have been applied for on the city web site would be nice as well.

a well written article, a credit to our city hall, if one wants to go to www.firehouse.com hook onto grants you can see where all the money is going in Ct, and accross the country.

I do question why so many small towns and cities recieve so much more than Norwalk. Cities the same get so much more the ratio seems unfair.

    example given
for fire operations and safety Enfield got $315,108 Norwalk for the same grant got $142,912, and Branford volunteer got $296,457 on top of all this some of these grants can only be used and for specific items not the needs of these depts or else the city loses it.There is so much more to the story than grants given.

One must remember we have more than passenger frieght passing through Norwalk on the Northeast Corridor. I would hope at this point if we do have a major rail accident involving chemicals on the rail that physically runs through the city someone does have the evacuation plans? To date if so much has been given while we are all slapping everyone on the back for such a great job, can someone let the residents know where to go and how we find out if anything does occur.

These plans are on the table some are policy in rural upstate Ny and metro areas up and down the coast and where i do have some exposure to emergency response procedures i have yet to hear anything in Norwalk or about Norwalk.

I would assume a study was needed, cooperation of all agencies are needed to respond and help the residents, maybe somewhere along the line we will be told about this.

I also hope after the fiasco in South Norwalk where an explosion and fire months ago was handled so poorly we have come a long way in our ability as a city to deal with issues such as radiation.

Has anyone asked about the military shipments that pass through here I assume they have been addressed by our local emergency depts. as well.

Where some of the grant money bought gym equipment for the departments that in itself i guess was a plus. Our men in uniform need as much as they can get and I sincerly mean that they are the first to respond.

With all the chemicals we do have in town and the large business’s that do have the potential to become response sites do we have at this point our own fully stocked Haz Mat truck ready to respond in our station, sounds like we have the equipment, knowledge and outside resources,,and I havn’t even included the unkown factor driving down RT 95 that needs to be considered as well.

one more thought has anyone ever went out and priced a fire truck? some can cost what we have seen so far in one grant.

Yes they did have drill here in Norwalk on the rail, yet I never heard where the residents go in case there was more than a commuter accident..or did I miss that information. Its like the elephant in the room no one sees….

I may not have the foremat to sound informative but just concerned.

    by Mr Greenpeace — June 3, 2007 @ 9:52 pm

I don’t how one measures the performance of a grants coordinator, but it seems from Matt’s scorecard in the article that after one year Ms.Pytleski herself has only written and applied for 16 grants (a hair more than 1 per month) and of those, only 8% have been granted and paid. Perhaps in the world of grant applications that is a pretty good track record, but on the surface it seems rather less than productive to me. Still, securing a cool million for the city is probably no small task, and it certainly is a great start. Let’s hope no stones go unturned in securing grants that are properly due us, from both private endowments and government agencies.

    by itsridiculous — June 3, 2007 @ 9:57 pm

I was under the impression there was a regular firefighter named in one article who applied for and recieved one of the homeland grants,,I read it in both papers ,,like you said posting number 2 whatever is due us I also hope we get.

you don’t have to be a grant writer to apply, its all explained on the site www.firehouse.com details what is available and for whom is listed.

The Hour, typically, instead of throwing sunlight on an issue, is blowing sunshine up our collective asses.

They or someone close to Moocha has been reading this blog and saw the suggestion that they ought to publicize their grant efforts since they made such a big deal about hiring the grants coordinator.

If there were true journalism involved both sides of the issue would have been examined as itsridiculous points out in #3.

    by Anonymous — June 4, 2007 @ 8:26 am

You folks are just not satisfied are you? You wanted to know what the grants coordinator is doing and how much she has garnered for Norwalk but I guess $1MM is chump change as far as you are concerned. For 4 years the former City Clerk who was supposed to be bringing in the $$$$ did absolutely NADA! Except of course work part time for full time salary and benefits. Sound familiar folks? Seems to be a pattern the dems can’t seem to get away from.

    by Anonymous — June 4, 2007 @ 10:57 am

Wah, wah, wah. Such is life as a public servant. Anyone here who is considering running for office, take note. This is true no matter which side you’re on, so #6, just wait a while and you’ll have your day of sunshine, too.

In fact, considering the tone of your posting, I’ll bet there are some others here with your tag that are anti-Knopp, anti-Wells or anti-whomever you can find in previous admins, as evidenced by this one.

    by L’arlequino — June 4, 2007 @ 11:30 am

L’arlequino -all’s fair in love and politics! look at the Republican bashing and maybe you’ll see why we feel we need to point out the obvious. do you think for one minute that Dems are the higher authority? Do you think you are all teflon dems where none of your past will stick? So much went wrong for Norwalk in the past and none of you are willing to admit it. Granted, Knopp did follow thru on some of the projects already in place but damn, you can’t possibly believe he nor his administration were Norwalk’s saviors?

    by .Moderate voter. — June 4, 2007 @ 11:54 am

your right#6 and with some real reporting and fact finding we will also determine what the grants coordinator hasn’t done..the here and now is taught to our children so if we look back and agree with you then work with us to look ahead and figure out what we can do better. I simply pointed out one town received three times as much without a grant writer meaning they did the right thing without one a fact i know ,, and that one grant was 1/3 of what our total was.

So far we have read very little on the whole picture when receiving funds,,I reserve the right to say I was wrong in assuming poor performance or not enough of..I’m never right ask my kids..all eight

yes it was chump change considering the money going oversees, they have new fire trucks, new sewage plants new infrastucture we still have the same old stuff..and its getting old some of it needs replacing

the time it took me to write this posting about the funds we have received to date , is what we have sent oversees for thier cities and towns.(1mill).and to think Dover Delaware probably recieved another half dozen flags this morning,

while I have the floor i am not a DEM or a REP or IND I’m a Deadhead going on 60, and Jerry lost his fingertip for his country,,thats not the hear and now that is fact.

please understand we all want to see our city grow, but did the city have this forum at the time to uncover such incompetance as in the clerks office? Its on our watch now so we uncover what is going on right now..please ad some figures I have no idea what bottom line is until they are released..

maybe Matt will do a followup something rarely seen in today’s journalism or in our Hour or Advocate.

One final thought,.I hope I havn’t lost perspective,, I observe, deduct and respond and never want to sound combative..so if i have I’m sorry..

Yikes, major typo in my post #2 - of the 16 grants applied, only 8 were approved and paid - NOT 8%. Sorry guys. Very uncharacterist of me, and I hope I did not mistakingly mislead anyone. This may be the greatest percentage of awards ever by a coordinator in a city our size, but how the hell do we know? Still, to answer the critics who think I only look for the negative, I’ll say to all manipulators of data: don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.
Matt, do a follow up and shed some real light on the numbers, including a comparison to similar positions in other towns. Thanks.

    by itsridiculous — June 4, 2007 @ 8:48 pm

#14 Why thank you..you missing me has given me a warm fuzzy, but I was actually busy playing with YOUR mommy if you must know.

    by concerned citizen — June 4, 2007 @ 8:50 pm

itsridiulous..I know that other towns such as Stamford have a team of several grant writers that tackle the job of securing monies. It’s been a shame that until we acquired the services of Ms. Pytleski we had Pam Stark “splitting” her duties and accomplishing nothing. Even if Ms. Pythleski only recieved 1 million in funds that we would not of recieved, then we’re still ahead of the game even after her salary is deducted. Mind you, I’m sure more than 1 Million will be procured by her. But hey, it’s a start. If we can garnner more funds by giving her a staff to accomplish that, then we should consider the investment of more personnel for her. It is such a slap in the face of every Norwalk taxpayer to see other towns with a fraction of our population recieve a larger disproportionate amount of monies compared to us.

    by Concerned Citizen — June 4, 2007 @ 10:03 pm

C.C.: I could not agree more, except on the additional personnel. If Ms. Pytelski can only muster an application a month, then she might need a small army to really make a dent. Throwing more people at the problem seems to be the City Hall modus operandi. Sorry for repeating my personal mantra, but “sub it out”. I bet there are firms or people for hire that write grants for municipalities and get paid a small percentage of what they secure. Then no headcount, no health bennies, no retirement costs, etc. The original point I was making is that while every dollar we get is one more than we had, I question the “bragging” on how much has been accomplished in one year, and also the “motive and timing” of the article. One could suggest that this possibly mediocre work-ouput (1.3 grant applications per month) and questionable results (half are approved)would be grounds for dismissal in a comparable private sector job. The only other decent paying job that tolerates 0 accountability for 100% results is that of a weatherman. Those gals and guys are probably wrong more than half the time and still happily employed!

    by itsridiculous — June 4, 2007 @ 10:34 pm

itsridiculous… very good point on “subing it out” thus saving on Health care costs, retirement plans, etc. However, I don’t question the timing or the “bragging” because it’s been a year, more or less, since Ms. Pytleski was hired for this position and to review what one has accompilshed after the first year seems to me like a natural benchmark to review whatever progess has been made. In any corporate structure, yearly reviews are the norm wouldn’t you say?

    by concerned citizen — June 4, 2007 @ 10:50 pm

Darn, another conspiracy theory blown. I hate that. But of course you are correct C.C. and good point: yearly reviews still the norm. However, that only leaves me to ponder further: at the one year mark, if her perfomance was abysmal, would it still have be published???

    by itsridiculous — June 4, 2007 @ 11:00 pm

As they say, One way or the other it would of come out. On one hand, if she did well, then the powers that be would want you to know that, if on the other hand, she flopped, then the “other side” would want you to know that as well.

    by concerned citizen — June 4, 2007 @ 11:06 pm

One might like to think so, c.c., but I question whether “other side” is smart enough to have even looked in the first place.

Hey, Concerned Sicko Pervert - I see you’re back with your usual hatred and putrid spewing of filth. After your last posting I knew you were really twisted but your attitude shows all the characteristics of a sociopath as well. Next time you see someone look at you sideways who knows who it will be?

    by Anonymous — June 6, 2007 @ 3:11 pm

Pervert? why would you say that? Because I said I was playing with your mother?? Maybe we were playing a nice game of parchisi or chess? YOU’RE the one who came to a perverted conclusion. Hey imbicile, - look all you want sideways, frontway or the way you usually look at things - upside down & backwards, I couldn’t care less coming from a idiot like you. The only thing that is twisted here is your brain, and the only thing that will be twisted is your own neck if you keep the threats coming. I’m surprised your mommy hasn’t spanked you or washed your mouth out with soap.

    by Concerned Citizen — June 6, 2007 @ 3:30 pm

    Whoops…

is it safe to come in here?

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 4:25 pm

Sorry Watchdog.. but “anonymus has issues” with anyone who answers him back. At least, I hope your amuzed.

    by Concerned Citizen — June 6, 2007 @ 4:31 pm

Afternoon, CC… quite a fracas going on, yesiree. If I recall, this all started from Anon asking you to ask your “Mommy” if you could come out and play. You responded with something to the effect of you playing with her/his mommy right now.

So.. I’m confused. Have we established your gender? If you are a sweet ole’ gal enjoying a game of Canasta with Anon’s mother, there is certainly no room for suspect.

You know… I’d love to get a backyard barbecue scheduled for all the delightful folks who visit Turf’s blog. Imagine us all together sharing a volleyball net.
    What a marvelous thought, eh?

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 4:43 pm

LOL !! Now THAT would be some party! So safety’s sake, I hope you consider making it a alcohol free party.

Unfortunately it did NOT start with Anonymus asking me to ask my “mommy” to come out & play. It continued from other blog threads where Anonymus made the assumption that ALL republicans are the root of ALL coruption in government (This on a day when Congressman Jefferson is facing 200 plus years for coruption) I told him that coruption in government knows no particular party and it escalated from there with his snobbish self-indulgent remarks and, I admit, my witty reponses to them. However, not only does anonymous have ridiculous highly partisan remarks to me & other republicans, he can’t take what he dishes out. He chose to taunt me in post #14 and I gave it bask to him. So there you have it in a nut shell Watchdog.

I still love the Idea of a BBQ and volleyball. Hell I’ll buy everyone a coke and we can sing kumbuya too.

    by Concerned Citizen — June 6, 2007 @ 5:02 pm

CC: my reply to you was hijacked to a previous topic. My apologies, but L’arlequino is back at it again.

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 5:27 pm

That’s funny Watchdog….between “anonymous” & the “Faux Watchdog”, it’s amazing how some don’t want to use their monikers. Shady, shady, shady

    by Concerned Citizen — June 6, 2007 @ 5:34 pm

Watchdog - I am not sure what you’re referring to but I would appreciate it you would keep me out of your discussion with Concerned Citizen.

If what you’re talking about was your suggestion for “most dispicable” poster, as I recall from a couple of days ago, I made the suggestion that there might be a new candidate for that title. At that point if you recall there was a new poster who went by the initials IRR. That’s who I was referring to.

Concerned Citizen, I can see that the only monikers that are acceptible are your own and Watchdog since you two seem to be cozying up to each other at the moment. If you can manage to keep your wrath contained long enough to consider that you may be mistaken in some of your assumptions, it might make for a less acrimonious dialogue.

    by L’arlequino — June 6, 2007 @ 5:50 pm

L’arlequino, trust me, my last post is anything but my wrath. If Watchdog was mistaken then apologies are in order, However, SOMEONE is still wrongly signing his name. And as for my dear friend anonymous, it might just be him who “forged” the name. Maybe Anonymous is Jen, who has many personalities by all the sign-offs she has. Who knows? Folks, good & evil, pick one name please.
By the way, Anonymus, Mom says hi.

    by Concerned Citizen — June 6, 2007 @ 6:00 pm

l’arlequino, and CC: I think Watchdog was joking about l’arlequino being responsible for Watchdog posting in the wrong thread … a similar comment was made before about apostrophes missing etc. If however, there’s someone who is posting under someone else’s handle, let me know the number, and I’ll check into to it.

To all anonymous posters, that is the ones who use anonymous as your handle. There are many of you, and the discussion gets confusing picking out who said what. Here are some sample handles that you can use

    igognito
    secret poster
    john doe
    jane doe
    j doe
    anon person
    unknown person
    anon dem
    anon gop
    anon ind
    unaffiliated
    pen name
    a. n. other

    and a few historical ones
    silence dogood
    Publius
    Alan Smithee
    George Spelvin
    Georgina Spelvin

    the management

Regardless of whose name is being used, if someone thinks their tag has been hijacked, they should make that known before making assumptions or accusations… Watchdog.

    by L’arlequino — June 6, 2007 @ 6:18 pm

L’arlequino: Aw, now… you’re reading far too much into nothing. Your name was mentioned with great affection, but.. hey. Most despicable? Whoa.. do you think you could possibly apply? That was no where near my thinking. It seemed you had a sense of humor. Perhaps I mis-read you. If you wish to take your toys and go home, pity.

As for CC, I don’t give a hoot about partisan rants. Each of you is far more than that, I would hope. But then.. I might be wrong, after all. I won’t comment further to dignify the issue. I apologize for any offending misinterpretation on your part. I guess this means you’re off the barbecue list.

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 6:27 pm

Hey Turfie… that’s exactly it. Thank goodness for you and your down-to-earthness.

    Love ya!

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 6:29 pm

Watchdog - I do have a sense of humor but you have to look at the context in which you referred to me. If you read back in your exchange with CC, it wasn’t very clear at all that you were joking, and I have no wish to become another focal point for anyone’s ire.

And, like I said, I would have awarded “Most Despicable” at that point to our friend, His Protuberance, IRR.

    by L’arlequino — June 6, 2007 @ 6:41 pm

L’arlequino: So you’re back on the barbecue list?

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 6:44 pm

On the beach in Rowayton, with a snifter of Mad Dog.

    by L’arlequino — June 6, 2007 @ 6:46 pm

L’arlequino: Ah, yes… where we together might utter that singular unforgettable line… “Bon appetit, losers.”

Wow… this sudden surge of entitlement is electrifying!

    by Watchdog — June 6, 2007 @ 6:55 pm

This has been an interesting post from 1-47. Be nice, read and comment.

    by Aunt Bertha — June 6, 2007 @ 7:02 pm

Everyone needs to take a deep breath and smell the roses. There is absolutely no reason to ruin a perfectly good blog with such nastiness. We can all agree to disagree and at the end of the day, remember, we are all neighbors in a wonderfully diverse town and though we disagree on politics we agree that we all have Norwalks best interest at heart.
