What a beautiful day! Hope you are all well and get to enjoy the great outdoors! Getting some final gardening in for the year and I’ll be closing up the shed! I said the same thing last year but I was mowing the lawn in November.

Turf are you posting debate info.
-
That’s right, #2. I think there’s a debate on Monday night. League of Women Voters, methinks. Not sure about specifics. Turf: Can you please post the info so people can get out to these?

Just came from the Roton car wash, it was great to see them get a good car washing day, great to see the support for the school, and the teachers involved on their day off,,

Meletus still evokes my sighs and Thel’s retreat, a moan.
Yet, like those flapping wings that chilled our fire provider’s pluck, it’s these eternal posts that cause my guts to retch and heart to freeze. There, discarded lays a man’s tearstained receipt. Do his cold eyes still cry today? Mine can’t.
When she flees, does she stumble toward her vales of Har? Listen! Listen to the clod of clay! Even Seraphim will leave.
“Does the Eagle know what is in the pit,
Or wilt thou go ask the Mole?â€We have heard from both.

we still have the month to pull something like this off here in Norwalk all we need are some sponsers and ask local 830 if they would do it,,heating season is coming that brings the chance of house fires, from stoves, space heaters and candles, ect ,maybe we have something like this already going on ? ,,its just a thought,,I’ll donate some smoke detectors any one else?
figure its election time maybe we can get the candidates to help as well.. don’t care who gets the credit if it saves just one life..
DES MOINES, Iowa —
Des Moines firefighters are teaming up with Papa John’s pizza to make sure residents have a working smoke detector.
Firefighters delivered pizzas that were ordered Wednesday from the Southwest Ninth St. Papa John’s.
Customers who had working smoke detectors in their home got their pizzas for free. Customers who didn’t got a free smoke detector.
It’s all part of October’s Fire Prevention Month.

Firefighters challenge arbitration award, forget the pizza GP , hey Dick forget the votes
-
Will the firefighters have a letter-writing campaign to speak out against Moccia and the arbitration agreement? Who would like to bet that they won’t? They’re largely responsible for the razor-thin margin he won by. They made their bed, now they have to lie in it with him.

Why blame the firefighters? Why not blame the 179 people who voted against Knopp? The firefighters did what they felt was right and no amount of mudslinging is going to change the fact that this town is better off without Knopp. You people who constantly trash the republicans just do it for the sake of getting attention. Not everyone agrees with you and don’t expect them to. We can all find fault with things on all levels but to disagree just because you think everyone will jump on your bandwagon is counter productive to finding ways to improve Norwalk.

what ever made you think the fire dept was unhappy with the mayor,,last industrial accident involving the mayors organized labor supporters OSHA was there before the fire dept was..
this was
from local 830 web siteThere is a new item for voting in the online voting section regarding an increase in union dues to build the Legal Relief Fund at a faster rate to offset the costs of hiring powerful attorneys to combat the administration’s ongoing efforts to take away our benefits year after year. It would be appreciated if all members took the time to cast a vote so we know where to go with this in the future.
