I just want to comment as a resident of District D that I feel we are very, very fortunate to have Doug Hempstead and Kelly Straniti as our Councilmen for our District. They are both very active in our community, have a long healthy resume of accomplishments they have achieved on our behalf as well as for citizens outside our disrtict. I will attend this coffee if for nothing else, but to thank them for a thankless job , which by the way is not well paid for.

why wasn’t the transfer station talked about last oct at this meeting? We were under the gun to get permits for meadow st wern’t we?

It appears this October 2007 article about District D was dredged up to support District E’s current situation. In rereading this article, the District D forum was specifically about District D issues. It was an open forum and apparently no one present asked about the transfer station.

Do the district A, B, C or E council reps hold open forums?
