Bridgeport: Sore Loser Caruso Files Lawsuit

Chris Caruso who lost the September 11th mayoral Democratic party primary in Bridgeport has a penchant for repeat behaviors. It was not too long ago, 2003 in fact, when he lost a mayoral primary to then candidate, now mayor, John Fabrizi. Then, Caruso refused to believe he lost fair and square, and then he filed a lawsuit alleging all sorts of thing that were responsible for his loss.

This law suit has the usual accusations, poll workers that were allegedly for Finch instead of Caruso. People being shown how to vote for Finch, instead of Caruso. It’s as if Caruso really believes that people his campaign called to get out the vote would somehow be swayed  to vote for the other guy, based on whatever a poll worker said or did. So much for thinking that voters who bothered to vote may have had a good idea about who to vote for. You’d think Caruso would be madder that 80% of Bridgeport’s Democrats didn’t even bother to show up to vote. If that doesn’t speak to the indifference to the choice between Finch and Caruso, I don’t know what does.

Chris Caruso is just a sore loser. Even in his supposed hot bed of support, Blackrock, he lost. That should tell him something. Where he thought he had strong support, where his message reached active voters, where he could demonstrate his campaign had strength, he instead lost to Finch.

With respect, totally disagree with the “Caruso is a sore loser” viewpoint. As somebody whose husband was initially denied his right to vote during the Bridgport primary, I personally applaud Caruso for having the guts to stand up for the people’s Constitutional right to vote. If it had not been for the ONLY knowledgeable Election Official at our Polling Station, my husband would definitely not have voted on September 11. As it was, we had to battle with the Registrar to get the concession we did. How many other people had problems that night and not having an official who knew his/her stuff, turned round and went home? Caruso is fighting for the voters of Bridgeport, like the Statesman he is.

Ever since those darn chads in Florida it has been like this, will it ever end?

#1: You cannot expect anyone to swallow what you wrote. Chris Caruso isn’t fighting for the voters of Bridgeport; he is fighting because he is determined to become mayor somehow. I don’t know why your husband was initially denied his right to vote, but I would not assume that it was due to corruption.

As for referring to Caruso as a statesman, I usually wouldn’t put his name and the word statesman in the same sentence, unless I was referring so someone else as the statesman.

    Caruso, you LOST! Get it?
