There are over 12,000 storm drains in Norwalk, maybe if whoever took the picture could have cleared the the leaves away it would help. No city can clean every drain every day, the people have to chip in. As far as the Oyster festival 75,000 people, there would be some trash, but I guess there was none at the Milford festival or the Taste of Danbury or the concerts after 5 in Stamford, only Norwalk, ah the miserable 25 ride again. Get a life.

yes and real storm drains are round so they can’t fall into the hole so what kind od a deal on rectangle ones did we get?

I think you find this one overflows at high tide when its raining see that part of town doesn’t have the luxury of a working water runnoff system so cleaning may not do diddly my friend but than again you must be a city engineer with the knowledge you spew.

I saw that sign to the left for about 300 feet to the bridge there is glass bottle and cans and debris that the fest didn’t sell so what about that mess just leave it for the tourists , show them we really don’t care nice comment you ever visit that side of town?

so Mr highway foreman or head trash picker upper consider yourself on notice get it clean or go to Milford or Danbury to see hiow its gets done then come back and show the ones your defending how.

    next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    how was that Walter?

figure this is the best place to post this one

This morning coming out of the city I came upon Norwalk fire on 95 at a truck fire I think it was a van lines trailor, so within maybe 20 minutes o so a devastating accident about 100 yards away trapped someone else in another tractor trailer cab on the North bound side exit 13 - 14

We never give these guys enough credit, while you all were home sleeping they were all risking all, they got to see the second incident.

lets not mention while the trucks are all using rt 1 for 95 another gets stuck under a overpass in Darien.

So its not complete news with names of injured companies truck names ect but I can tell you many firemen and police this morning were busy and not in the city but the highway, whats it mean maybe we will need more men on the depts and if we don’t get the additional grants the fire dept is applying for without the mayors help what are we going to do?

By the way you read it here first on the BLOG

I hope we here more on the heavy rescue the fire dept is getting, could of used it this morning using the old one as backup for the city ,,anyone agree?
