Last night, the Common Council’s planning committee met to discuss the Wall Street Redevelopment plan. Where was Nick Kydes? Once again, Norwalk’s Redevelopment Agency is promoting the idea of a single developer acquiring property to do a large redevelopment area instead of a property by property approach like most other cities manage to accomplish. The Wall Street plan has, like many of these large scale plans, been around for a few years, and is now ready to be voted on by the entire council.
It also looks as if it will require the entire council to vote on seizing four properties. From the Hour:

This is the first is a series of endorsements that we’re likely to see, and I suspect that it reflects more of a need to keep the line at the voting booth more than anything else. The Working Families part, according to their web site:
