    How safe are these parks?

Interesting contrast with the No-walk Jazz Festival. Suppose the free admission and headline names have anything to do with the fact the festival has been put on for 10 years now?

Of course these parks are safe! Do you really think these performers would be playing there if they thought otherwise? Besides I’m sure it would be loaded with lots of police. Go with the intention of listening to good FREE music, buy from the food vendors if there are any (What a great place to try real African and Caribbean food w/out putting a hole in your pocket.), and I can guarantee you’ll have a great time. And you’ll meet some really nice people. I think I’m going to take my family to 1 or 2 of the performances.

Free and name acts seems to work well. Stamford does the same.

Yeh, but the people are nicer in Bridgeport.
