It is a lot better than a sharp stick in the eye.
The right people could make it perfect

Let me clarify before anyone starts getting their undies in a bunch.
I meant the right people who will serve as members of this new Ethics Committee.

Isadora, you are forgiven.

I hope that the people on this new committee are unaffiliated voters, have no political agenda or asperations, and no relitives in local politics. Then and only then will it truly be a fair and balanced committe able to render completly unbised decisions.
Not easy, but absolutly possible.

SORRY…That should have been “unbiased”.

Hats off to the Council for putting forward an updated ethics code. Thankfully it will be passed next week. I hope all of the coucilmembers support it. Any opposition will likely be very partisan and come from the several dems who oppose reform and adherence to stricter standards.

The Common Council has done a fine job with their work on an updated ethics code. Hopefully it will be passed next week. Job well done. It is very nice as a taxpayer to see our elected officials work together for something that makes Norwalk government work a little better, and adhere to higher ethical standards.

The new ethics code will be quite an accomplishment for the council. Glad to see some members working on something instead of talking all the time. A job well done.

The ethics revision is a change for the better. Keep it going council.
