Thanks to the anonymous reader who sent this budget in for scanning and posting. Today was too nice to be busy working on the site, but soon we will have a document repository for easy access to all the BOE related documents, as well as the other topics that have generated documents. Anyways, here’s the very first version that Corda sent to the BET. Since then, there have been revisions, but I don’t have those …. yet. Hint. Hint.

I can’t find the executive assistant’s salary. Would someone kindly point that out to me?
-
1> try budget 2 -page 31 of PDF, page 60 of deck; I don’t think that includes benefits - that is just the salary. (might be for two people?- his secretary and his assistant- he might have combined them, not sure why he would do that- but we could speculate.)
-
#2, So if I follow that through, the executive assistant to the superintendent makes approximately $109,000 plus benefits. (that line does not include benefits)
-
If I read this report correctly there is funding for
residency investigation and expulsion hearings at a cost of 2005/06 = $62,104
2006/07 = $46,250
2007/08 = $46,250
Now, can someone tell me if we have been spending this kind of money, why do we still have such a large influx of non resident students who have not been given their walking papers? We can’t possibly have that many expulsion hearings in one school year. So my question here is, what are we using this money for?Secretary and executive asst combined salaries are
2005/06 = $151,879= $75,939 each not including benefits
2006/07 = $149,550 (how did this happen?)$74,775 each not including benefits
2007/08 = $154,743
if divided by 2 that gives both $77,371 per year not including benefits for 2007/08Of course I am sure that the Executive makes a larger portion of these total amounts.
I would like to know amoungst you that are secretaries if you make this kind of money and if so, can you get me a job?
-
The secretary makes a smaller percent of that total. Corda needs to break that down for a better understanding of what each makes.
-
I’m willing to bet the breakdown looks something like this
$99,743 plus benefits-Executive asst
$55,000 plus benefits-Secretary
I still want to know where the money is being used for
residency investigations. apparently its not being used right or we would have such a high rate of non resident students being dropped off or taking the train and out of town buses.
