Bruce Morris should be fired from the Board of Education. Why? How can we trust him to be fair to gay students. Just look at his 23 mins of shameful granstanding and terror on gay families.

I think all he didn’t say was the part about leaving in “obey” and “she shall submit her will to her husband’s”. This is not just embarrassing for Norwalk; to think this man is our school system’s Human Relations Officer?? Gimme a break! How could he possibly hold that job? It’s almost a blessing that he’s in Hartford all day though “see Budget thread…”

The Democratic Board of Education members encouraged- Mr. Morris to run for this office. They gave him a “no show job” in return - Norwalk get’s a 23 min attack on gay rights.

Let’s be real, Galen Wells used her pea brain and listened to Alex Knopp and pushed Morris as a candidate. Plenty of Dems told her this would be bad. But flushed with Lamont money, she decided that only she could make decisions about who can run. She fought against any challenge to Morris at the state committee, not once but twice! She lost both times. She has told many people bad things, she makes up stories, she turns every minor event into a political disaster. For anyone to still think that she has any credibility left with anyone is amazing. Look around town and ask yourself honestly why things are so divisive amongst dems? Is it because there are real disagreements or is it because people are reacting to hearing stories? Use your own eyes.

#1. You are right, how can we trust Morris to be fair to our gay student population? After 23mins of skirting the real reasons as to why he does not vote for the gay marriage bill…he has rights to his opinon but a duty to help the people in his district. And there are gay people everywhere. What is he really affraid of?

First the Norwalk Court House story is a joke- the state said they were not going to remove these judges and guess what? The state is not going to remove these judges. Grandstanding with no action!
Quick Study? Most People in Hartford- give Mr. Morris the thumbs down. Why- just a big mouth with no action.
Did the Speaker or the Majority Leader say how impressed they are with Mr. Morris? No. Just another Morris Hack shouting “Amen” to Bruce’s crap. Shameful!

Look, Bruce Morris has shown himself to be a bloviating hack at both the Compassionate Care and Marriage Equality hearings. I hope someone will primary him.
But to connect “Lamont money” with Galen Wells supporting Bruce Morris is ridiculous. Wells didn’t campaign for Lamont in the primary, and Morris and Malloy were working together with Lieberman in the primary as the endorsed team. David Watts and his strange crew even got Lamont t-shirts and wore them at the polls for Hilliard on primary day. The crazy conspiracy theories about Wells are so off-base as to render few comments here even remotely credible.

Dave Watts was right about Mr. Morris - and took action to prevent this type of attack on civil rights. Go Dave- you really rock!
The way Bruce Morris treated Sen. McDonald, Reps Lawlor and Bye is shameful.

This is precisely, why, in good conscience, I cannot support additional funding for the budget cap. Until we get quality individuals who are working in our school system as administrators who EARN their money, then that would no longer be an issue.
