Galen Wells, the staunch abortionist that she is, would be proud of the Right Reverend Brucie Morris.

It figures; why vote on behalf of the victums? It is sort of distrubing.

I am very dissapointed by this vote by a Democrat whom I supported. Democrats should be standing up for people, not pandering to religous activists. The Catholic Diocese in New York did not object to Plan B in Catholic hospitals.

What’s with the obsession with Bruce Morris on this web site? Not that I think Bruce doesn’t deserve scrutiny. But what are our other representatives doing?

  • 5 Anonymous // Mar 17, 2007 at 1:44 pm

Hilliard would have made a better state rep!

the reason people keep scrutinizing brucie morris is because there are so many purported scandals and insconsistencies surrounding him. He is a fascinating figure because in most places politicians with so much baggage do not get elected.

Bruce Morris is a man of God standing up for what he beleives is right in the eyes of God and not man. I belive that is where all the scrutiny comes from. Everyone has a past that they are not proud of. I’m not saying what you guys are saying is about his past is true but hey we all have done things we are not proud of in the past……

Did God elect Bruce Morris? Morris is bad for women

Bruce Morris’s here and now is not so hot either. Shame on Bruce Morris.

The last time I checked- there was a seperation between church and state. Bruce does not deserve to be in Hartford- his preaching belongs in his church in South Norwalk. What a shame? Morris is bad for women rights.

Bruce Morris was an embarrassment at last week’s hearings on HB1343. He kept asking about religious discrimination when the bill was about setting standards for ALL hospitals, not just Catholic hospitals.

He also made ridiculous statements like, “Well, Catholics choose to define pregnancy differently.”

Sorry, but I’m a Catholic, and I think we have rights to believe that life begins at fertilization if we want. But we don’t have the right to re-define medical terms at will. Just when the hearing was reaching some kind of medical and scientific clarity on the topic of emergency contraception (which is NOT abortion of any kind), Morris would raise his finger to ask questions and he’d muddle things up again by asking medical experts about religion.

I’m not suggesting Carvin Hilliard would have been better. He’s a nutjob. But it’s just pitiful that there aren’t better candidates coming out of South Norwalk. Democrats shouldn’t have had to choose between two such weak candidates.

Bruce Morris is doing a wonderful job in hartford. God forbid if any of the other two would have made it. I bet some of this garbage is being posted by one of them anyways. One of them doesn’t even have a vehicle to get to Hartford, let alone become a state rep.

#12 Please Clarify. First of all, Rick McQuaid would have made a fantastic Rep in Hartford. You show me one person who has taken 35 years of his life(he’s only 50)and dedicated to the citizens of Norwalk the way he has? Your post screams of a campaign insider on the Morris bandwagon. Give us all a break and be real. Rick has taught our kids, fought for yours and my rights, fought for right and wrong and continues to do so on a daily basis often times putting his own children and wife second in the hopes to make a difference for all of us. And for your info, his car works just fine! Perhaps you should spend a day in Ricks shoes and then come back and make your comments.

What wonderful job? Turffy posted the links to his so-called legislation. Some one else posted about his performance at the hearing. Morris is for Useless.
