JOB FAIR TO BE HELD IN STAMFORD ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010
Stamford, CT – (August, 2010) Fairway Market, New York’s iconic supermarket, (www.fairwaymarket.com) known for its great variety of superior quality fresh food from around the globe at the most competitive prices, is looking to fill key positions for the new Stamford location. The 80,000 square foot store (699 Canal Street in the Harbor Point Project) is the eighth and largest Fairway yet.
The job fair air will be held on Wednesday September 1, 2010 from 9 am until 4 pm in the CTE facility at 34 Woodland Avenue in Stamford (in the gym). Positions available are counter help in the bakery, deli, seafood, cheese and meat departments; produce clerks, kitchen/café workers, prep cooks, sandwich makers, counter help and dishwashers. This is an open job fair and applications may be filled out onsite or picked up at The Ferguson Library branches at South End and Broad Street locations or the Stamford Government Center on Washington Blvd. Candidates are encouraged to bring resumes. No appointments are necessary.
