The downside was I had to work today. The upside was that I got to spend most of the day outdoors in this glorious weather. It was almost as if Mother Nature was saying (after the nor’easter & the monsoon) “No hard feelings, ok?”

Yes, it was too beautiful yesterday, which is why I’m reading this at 7:15 AM Saturday morning. It was so beautiful you wanted to do both everything and nothing (I opted in favor of almost nothing). BUT, alas, after a relaxing mani-pedi & massage, there I was right in the middle of the day wandering around Stews to grab up what Easter stuff I needed in order to keep today – promising to be just as beautiful – completely free. Nothing can kill your fondness for your fellow humans like going to Stews just before a holiday or a snowstorm! All I could do when I got home was grab a book & a glass of champagne and hit the deck. What is it about that place that makes otherwise pleasant people monsters. Now – and for the bitch who grabbed the parking space I’d been patiently waiting for – I got an ever closer one right after I threw my finger at you. Good thing, because another bitch grabbed my cart when I was poking through the lillies and I ended up with one with steering issues. Thank heaven I didn’t actually need MUCH.
