If you haven’t noticed, over at the upper left corner of this web site is a new spot for the “See Click Fix” campaign. See Click Fix, is a web site started up by a couple of New Haven residents who wanted to see the City of New Haven improve. What started local, grew viral and now pretty much any city is represented on the site. But sadly not enough of Norwalk’s trash, pot hole and other quality of life issues are up on the site.
I’m pleased to report that the customer service department of the City of Norwalk is watching the Norwalk region. Which means, that they in fact, are responding to issues posted on the site. Which puts the onus on you, the residents and readers of this site, to take some initiative and identify your significant issues with stuff that needs fixing in Norwalk. It doesn’t have to be all road and car related. You could put up street lights that are out, signs that are needed, grass that needs mowing, graffiti spotted, cars abandoned, trash and litter, illegal dumping, trees that have falling limbs, shrubs that cover the sidewalks, sidewalks that are not clear, urban blight, abandoned property, cars parked on sidewalks, and just about anything you see. Norwalk’s customer service department will route it to the right department and everyone will see where the problem is and how fast it gets resolved.
But fixing Norwalk won’t happen without active participation of the public. So get involved, and help make Norwalk beautiful.

Great addition to the site!
Great idea to post on the blog. Hopefully, more people will see it and use it and another way to get involved.
This is awesome–I’ve already used it! Thanks for pointing this out!
