Attending: Potts, Serasis, Brown, Lindstrom, Moccia, Maslan, Bolden,Bondi, Straniti, Conroy, Bonenfant, Kydes, Hempstead, McQuaid
A moment of silence for three of people, the Mayor said nice words about Ken Slapin and his legacy of creating the Norwalk Tranisit District and a few words on the UCONN student who was killed, and Phyllis Bolden said a few words about Dorrie Bowden who was a community activist on Lexington Ave.
Approval of the minutes with various changes made by, Brown, and Potts. Tabled till next meeting Unanimously.

Resignations & Appointments:
Sheldon Miller resignation from Board of Health
Greg Burnett is withdrawn for nomination to the Board of Health. Moccia and Bolden say nice words about Burnett’s nomination. So did Hempstead and Hilliard and Bondi. Unanimously.
Thomas Mahoney to Human Relations Commission. Bolden says nice things and praises his community involvement. Moccia does too, both cite the 10/10 date. McQuaid and Brown says nice things too. Unanimously.
Sheldon Miller to the Transit District. Moccia and Kydes say nice things. SO does Hempstead and Boenfant. Unanimously.
Reappointments
Barbara Hudgins Fair Housing Advisory Commission. Bolden says nice things, Moccia says she was a recommendation fom the NAACP. Bondi says nice things and so does Hilliard. Unanimously.
Diane Beltz-Jacobson- Ast. Corporation Council. Kydes says nice things, so does Hempstead. Unanimously.

Council President remarks:
Bolden: Says that Geake is out sick and that she wishes he gets well fast. Offers condolences to the family of Ken Slapin. Reminds the mayor that he no longer had any grudges with city hall and that the canon on the green was pointed away from City Hall. Wishes everyone well on the election, and has sadness upon leaving the council. (They do have one more meeting after the election.)
Reads the Consent Calendar. They vote unanimously.
