Is it at all possible that Andy G. is quick study who learned to be a good administrator on the fly after a first year of many, many miscues?
But, isn’t also possible that merely being a kind and competent bureaucrat who can run a clerk’s office (admittedly very well) doesn’t necessarily translate into being a leader for a diverse city of nearly 90,000 people?
You don’t need vision to be a great city clerk- but you need it to rate as a good mayor

Did I miss something? Did Moccia, or any of his cronies, compare him to Obama? Of COURSE he isn’t Obama – very few people are. And of course Obama’s popularity is going to drop a bit as time marches forward. He’s still a great presidential figure who makes us look good on the world stage, as opposed to that goofus we had before.
