I had planned on going to several events on Saturday but actually spent from 11 to 5 at the pARTY in the park. There was so much to see and way too much food to sample. The Cemetery was amazing. Hopefully they will be able to raise the funds to restore the headstones. Its such a shame that they have either fallen from age or vandalizm because they are such a vital part of Norwalk history. I heard some kids talking about how old some of them were..they were saying things like wow look at that one they were born in the 1800's and look, they died in the early 1900's ..wow that was a long time ago. the kids and adults alike really enjoyed the history lessons they learned from the re-enacters that were place strategically around as well.
