2009 Spring Gala and Silent Auction Open Door Shelter
The 2009 Spring Gala and Silent Auction to Benefi t the Open Door Shelter
(formerly the Norwalk Emergency Shelter)
Please join us for an evening that can change the lives of so many.
The Open Door Shelter and the Manna House of Hospitality give men, women and children in our community a second chance at a better life.
The shelter sleeps ninety-fi ve people, Manna House soup kitchen serves three meals a day, every single day of the year, and our pantry provides hundreds of meals daily to families in need both inside and outside of Norwalk. This currently translates into over 30,000 meals served monthly, a dramatic increase of more than 60% over last year.
The need for your support is more critical than ever. Your participation in this special event can help plant the seeds of hope, providing much-needed shelter, food, clothing and restoration of dignity to those who have fallen on hard times.
