Look, I don’t know what this is, but I’ll add a comment. I was reading the Hour newspaper this morning and I found an article in it very interesting. They were talking about Rowayton’s pageant coming up and how the residents were all up in arms because they didn’t want the LED bulbs, they wanted the more expensive, energy wasting bulbs. They make no sense. They said that the LED bulbs add a blue hue and doesn’t look right.

I told you that Rowaytonites are strange.

They’re all in la la land over there. They’d never make it in other parts of Norwalk.

Or maybe, the only experience they have with LED lights is the very bright intense white lights now available in LED flashlights. If they haven’t seen colored LED christmas lights, they don’t have an accurate frame of reference and are not looking to buy new lights to replace ones they have grown accustomed to.

They’re from Rowayton….what do you want? They want their “town” – really a real part of the southern most part of South Norwalk, but they want to retain that “Village” feel. Almost like Bedford Falls – It’s a wonderful life. Please……Give these people more medication.

Maybe they want the look and feel of a traditional Christmas with traditional bulbs. It’s their money, let them spend it how they want.

Back to Sock Puppet – I guess when all is said and done the tech industry was a boom that hadn’t penetrated other industries as deeply as the auto industry has when the bubble burst. Plus the auto industry isn’t a bubble – it’s an octopus with tentacles stretching everywhere – like the financial industry too.

It’s a knotty question and a tough call whether to bail them out or not. It isn’t fair to lots of us but would the pain of the alternative be worse?
