I was looking for a weasel for the D’s because of the way they all voted for this stupid war and when it became unpopular they all tried to weasel their way out of the blame game. They seem to weasel their way out of alot of things and put the blame on others more times than not. If this weren’t true Ted Kennedy would be in jail for all that he has done over the years. But you all keep voting him back in office because he represents the midset of most of you. I think the tarantula or scorpion is a great one for the D’s, they prey on unsuspecting victims and poison them against reality and leaves them to wonder if they will survive. Just look at the 6% tax hike the CT dems proposed on products delivered within the state to private homes and businesses. Democrats have been in control of taxation policies for the last 22 years and we are suffering for it with lost jobs, less earning power and families moving out of Connecticut.
Dems are like Robins from the Hood they know how to give back to the people and not spend it on themselves and call it a windfall.

The homeless shelter is still looking for donations and the local food pantries are still wondering when the farmers market is coming back.Some of the mothers that used state coupons with the vendors at the market miss that outlet as well. Who cares who makes it all happen as long as its soon. The conveniance of the market at the Aquarium was for others who don’t have a paycheck and couldn’t afford transportation.
I vote for butterfly and toucan. Let’s just get along. Though maybe cat and dog would be more appropriate because there are lots of dog and cat lovers, but most people lean one way or the other.

Well-I vote that #1 and #12 are the funniest and most thoughtful answers. If you take the jellyfish off the page and look at it, it will look like a flying saucer (spaceship) taking off not a jellyfish so that one does not work for me. I was curious to see how our tax dollars are spent given all the recent posts about government handouts (don’t forget that coupon for the digital converter box you’ll need next year when all TVs have to go HD) and affordable housing.
So I found a source that shows how my tax dollar is spent. Let’s say I had a really good year and ended up paying $20,000 in Federal income tax.
Of that $20,000:
$8,400 goes to Past and Current Military
$4,400 goes to Health
$2,000 goes to Interest on Non-Military Debt
$1,800 goes to Anti-Poverty Programs
$800 goes to Education, Training & Social Services
$800 goes to Government & Law Enforcement
$600 goes to Housing & Community Development
$600 goes to Environment, Energy & Science
$400 goes to Agriculture, Commerce and Transportation

A Stamford woman was stabbed in the chest early yesterday during a brawl at Roodner Court in Norwalk, police said.
Police found the victim, 23, in one of two cars they pulled over after a large group of young women scattered when police arrived about 2:20 a.m. to break up a fight, said Lt. Paul Resnick, a police spokesman.
She arrived at Norwalk Hospital in critical condition but has been upgraded to satisfactory and was expected to survive, Resnick said.
Find the party animal that will give their candidate the strength to get rid of housing projects. If you had to give the idea of housing projects a grade it would be an F, for Failure. If people don’t own the land in which they live they care nothing about it.
I think that most of the people in public housing are hard working and trying to do the best they can with what they have for their children.
