I understand the problem. Hard to translate a good tellin’ joke into a good readin’ one.

punch line: Ya know, I wnet back and forth on how to spell that one, because the joke works on that accent, not southern but western, but I usually tell it verbally. For me, spelling it paw, broke the joke. LMAO on the dead parrot joke.

…should be “the man who shot my paw.” Get it? Southern dialect Paw = father. Dog missing a “paw”. “Pa” is a northern variation that doesn’t quite payoff the punch line as well. And while we’re on the subject…

Man walks into the veterinary office with a parrot. HE’s weeping and asks them to save his beloved bird. Vet comes out, looks at the bird and says “I’m afraid it’s too late. Your parrot is dead.”

“Oh no. I can;t believe it. Are you sure?”

Vet goes to the back and comes back with a cat and puts the cat down next to the parrot. Cat sniffs it and walks away. Vet says: “See? The cat thinks the bird is dead.”

“No…no…it can’t be.”

The Vet goes back and brings out a labrador retreiver who paws the bird, sniffs it and walks away.

The guy is still weeping but finally says: “I guess you’re right. Dear Polly is dead. What do I owe you?”

“That will be $4000.”

“What! $4000 to tell me my parrot is dead?! Why so much.”

“Well, that’s the cost with the lab tests and the cat scan.”

Ba-da-boom.

Like any of us wanted the other two, never said he wasn’t the best candidate in my eyes he was the only candidate .

You certainly don’t live in South Norwalk you would of commented on the sirens we have had all day resulting in many arrests according the neighbors that has been the result of a warm day.

Like someone just said wait till sept and see how our city has done for the summer.Then you can boast about the overwhelming majority until then maybe you are the minority thats not informed.

He works the numbers , he works the crowd now all he needs to do is work for the working class so they can enjoy Norwalk and have a quality of life he promised would get better.

Whats apparent shows up months after the fact give it time its not a popularity contest its a city in trouble that concerns most of us.

The past is casting a dark shadow on the city , news of its needs are surfacing again lets do the report card in sept it will be easier to determine if we need new leadership the jury is still out.
