There were some that had medical conditions that needed transport,too bad they can't get some help at the shelter,Stamford hospital just went to the streets last week and saw patients as a preventative way of reaching out.Why can't we do that? Mayor was supposed to meet with Board of Directors (including Ms. Antonetz), but have not heard if he did, and what the results may have been. Also, the district dems were coordinating community meetings regarding the shelter, and I have not seen where anything has been scheduled. I suspect due to elections and such. On my front, the financial analysis is taking a little longer than I suspected - and it is hard to make a judgement based strictly on numbers to determine the responsibility of an organization. I'm hoping still to find an accountant who can take a look for me, pro bono. I was encouraged to see at least two board members at the community forum, though I don't know what may have been discussed at their last board meeting.
